![]() ![]() I just prefer the original and hope they include this option. I've got no problem with Second Evolution. It's odd, considering I don't have this problem with any other game that has both spoken and written dialog. The voice acting is distracting in a way, almost like someone talking to me while I'm trying to read. Part of what solidified Star Ocean 2 as one of my favorite games of all time was having to read all of the dialog. It might sound weird, but I don't think every game needs full voice acting. However, I would greatly appreciate the ability to play the game without these things, because that is how I originally fell in love with it. This is the 'Jam Store' and they sell all kinds of jam (youll find that relatively useless items are quite commonplace in Star Ocean: The Second Story. Make your way straight up from the entrance and go into the first house with the pink roof. If an R version of Star Ocean 2 happens, we can expect new character portraits, fast travel, and English/Japanese audio to be included. First of all the shopping is a lot better in this town. So, I think that when/if a Star Ocean: Second Evolution R happens, I'd appreciate to have one particular option included and that is to play the game without portraits or voice acting. ![]() ![]() ![]() In my opinion, Second Evolution added things that I didn't think the game needed (e.g. However, quality of life improvements aside, I still prefer the Playstation version of Star Ocean: The Second Story. locked to PSP) and made more accessible on platforms such as PS4 and Switch. I hope Second Evolution gets the same treatment as first Departure, meaning that it is brought out of an obscure space (i.e. ![]()
